Sun Plaza Hall

Meltdown seems to be a perfect example of how King Crimson can constantly shift the attention and focus to different instrumental combinations throughout the song. Moving seamlessly from percussion, vocals, lead guitar lines, backing vocals, rhythmic tensions, sax lines, Mellotron and back again; the work of one supporting the work of many, all beautifully interlocked.

Unstable pitch
It seems to me that the whole band doesn't sound at the same pitch in this download. I find the interlocked guitars a bit unstable at the begginning, and Bill's keyboards seem to be a bit low-pitched. Has anybody else noticed it? Perhaps a similar issue than with the 2016 tour?

Still Progressing
Before the concert, I participated the Royal Package. I have seen Mr. Robert Fripp, Mr. Mel Collins, and Mr. Singleton. They were very friendly and true gentlemen! Maybe because only one night was permitted for Sendai city, the play list was the best. The sequence of Radical action I, Meltdown, and RA II was amazingly powerful. I also impressed with legendary songs including Red, Starless, and Moonchild. The band is still progressing.
