VISTA OF A FRIPP OPERATING SYSTEM SOUND SESSION

Last year Robert Fripp was filmed recording sounds for the new Windows Vista system

It’s now been made available for viewing. Though it’s a little on the dark side, it offers a fascinating glimpse into RF’s MO as well as a hint of the kind of sounds you (and a kerjillion other computer users) can expect hear bleeping and droning from your Vista-run PC in the not too distant future.

Project Manager Steve Ball (from the League of Crafty Guitarists) gives RF  direction as to the kinds of sounds the Vista team are looking for and we also get a glimpse of John Sinks lurking in the background.

Check out the full-on Fripp Vista experience.
