Soft Machine Legacy is a reunion of 3 members of 70's pioneer band Soft Machine (John Etheridge, Roy Babbington, John Marshall) + reedsman Theo Travis. They have been together for 9 years (originally with Hugh Hopper and Elton Dean) and have produced 5 albums…the latest "Burden of Proof" is premiered tonight and has received glowing reviews.

"Burden of Proof is to put it mildly absolutely exquisite. These are four musicians at the top of their game, not only as soloists, but as contributors to an actual band” – Peter Pardoe, Sea of Tranquility.org.

Pianist Keith Tippett has been a national treasure and cornerstone of the improvising scene for 5 decades with an astonishing history of creativity. At last year's Frankfurt Jazz Festival, Keith joined Soft Machine for a triumphant concert. "Tippet's playing was dizzyingly virtuosic" (Decode Magazine)."Power, Beauty and musicianship" (Chris Searle).

Theo Travis can also be heard discussing his work with Steven Wilson, Soft Machine Legacy and Robert Fripp in the latest edition of Podcasts From The Yellow Room.
