Today at the Vicarage With

Today at the Vicarage : With the Chinless Wonders.

A mixed day. Work with the Chinless Wonders continues to frustrate me. The final ten percent is the hardest. But as we know, small incremental changes are transformative. We spent several hours pursuing different versions of an introduction to one of their pieces – all to no avail. Their way of working remains painfully slow.

On other matters, Roger Quilty has cancelled his trip next week (Grrrr). He was due to meet with both Channel 4 and Channel 5 to discuss the Vicar Chronicles. He has rescheduled for three weeks time. If he is not ready, he is not ready. We shall trust the process.

Also, I understand that Jan Weiner, of Rolling Stone, has somehow acquired a copy of Punk's Chronicle. He might be interested in a hilarious (and painfully true) short story of his that I read today. Serialisation anyone?

And last, but not least, Donbledore is flying in tomorrow. Many of his meetings have now been cancelled following Quilty's changed plans, but there are still useful things that can be done.
