I am beginning to wonder if it is my train that is moving, or the one next door that is giving me the appearance of motion. Much activity, but is there any progress against a fixed landmark? And, more importantly, what landmark do you trust?

Still, there have been small pleasures, such as meeting up with Vivien again. I am sure Punk's screenplay is in safe hands.

And tomorrow a meeting with Samantha Tiffany and Luke Hutchence to discuss the fate of his manuscript.

Meanwhile, thank God for music. It arrived yesterday, courtesy of Fedex, in the form of singing a la Fripp. A moment which words cannot describe, when the heavens open and we catch a fleeting glimpse of what is possible.
