The Truth doesn't fuck around. It doesn't care about your opinions. It doesn't care if you don't believe in it. It doesn't give two shits what religion you are, what country you're from, what color your skin is, how rich or poor you are. None of what concerns you concerns it in the least. It is not open to negotiation. You either go along with it, or it will sweep you aside.
Once you do open up to it there is nothing you cannot do. Life becomes so incredibly joyful you cannot help but smile even in the face of unimaginable tragedy. Even the pain you face in your life becomes a source of joy. This joy is not happiness. This joy makes the giddiest happiness you've ever felt look like the worthless waste of time and energy it was. It's the kind of joy that makes every single moment of your life, from waiting around to have a tooth drilled, to sweeping up the basement, to making dinner or looking around for a really nice pair of shoes, so utterly and incomprehensibly wonderful you can't imagine what your life must have been like without such joy.
