This Track is no longer available at the moment, but will be part of Mr Stormy's Monday Selection Volume 8 His Seventh year of treasures from the murky, cavernous DGM archives, are now available in Full Flac Fidelity.

A wonderful close-up detail of the guitar and stick parts (as well as the ethereal vocal tape loops from Adrian Belew) of this stone-cold classic from the Discipline album.

What a difference
It’s amazing to hear the clarity of the melodic instruments once BB is removed from the piece. It’s like hearing a new yet familiar piece at the same time. Who knew that a slit/tongue drum would add so much to the proceedings. Thanks Mr Mundy!

Fabulous
Even without the box drum this is an ethereal piece music. The first time I heard this group perform Sheltering Sky at Toad’s Place it was a total aural orgasm. This song has always evoked a cinematic scene in my mind, some epic journey across a desert or up a mountain on a spiritual quest.
