King Crimson supported The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park. Crimso's slot was captured for posterity and officially released as KCCC12.

Fripp's diary for the day reads "Standing ovation.  Mammoth Success, of importance which will take time to appreciate.  We’ll look back on this day in years to come and fully realise its significance."

Manager David Enthoven recalls the day coincided with his 25th birthday "The best present that I could have had...This was the defining moment for the King Crimson launch"

Have you got this release? Why not let us know your thoughts about it?

You can take a look at some of the photographs of the band and the day over here.

Granada TV were also documenting Mick Jagger and company that day and lo, and behold, who's that watching in the wings?
