The Royal Package rolled successfully into Raleigh.
Robert greeted the assembled gathering by telling them that they were mis-pronouncing the name of the town, as the famous Sir Walter apparently pronounced his name "Rawleigh" not "Rarleigh", and then David revealed more insights about the inner world of King Crimson and The Vicar. The mystery guest was Jeremy Stacey, greeted by enthusiastic fan who knew his entire back-history. Jeremy explained the various wheels within wheels that had brought him to King Crimson, including a teenage meeting with Gavin Harrison, where Jeremy, who had transcribed Zappa's "Black Page" compared his transcription with Gavin's score - and early meetings wth Robert Fripp who had attended a gig by the Stacey brothers in Bournemouth.
