Thanks to those nice people at Snapper Music we’re able to offer a copy of No-Man’s latest release, Schoolyard Ghosts.
It’s their first release in five years (since the wonderful Together We’re Stranger) and the album features contributions from Fripp-collaborator, Theo Travis, string arrangements by ex-Bruford band and all-round Canterbury legend, Dave Stewart, and if that wasn’t enough, not one but two King Crimson drummers – Pat Mastelotto and Gavin Harrison.
If you’d like to lay yer mits on this special gatefold two disc edition (CD and DVDA) then all you need to do is answer this oh-so simple question: which King Crimson guitarist appeared on Porcupine Tree’s Nil Recurring EP. Send your answer in an email with NO-MAN in the header along with your postal address. I’ll announce the winner on Friday 20th June.
Meanwhile, No-Man’s London show in August has sold out though two more dates in Europe have been added. Check out their site for all the details. You can hear samples of the album here and should you be interested, you can read my take on the record over on the blog.
