Musica Continua's celebration of progressive rock old and new goes ahead this weekend, and it's dedicated to the memory of the late Pip Pyle.
Set in Mestre (near Venice) it promises to be a memorable experience as it sees Jakko Jakszyk and Mel Collins performing together. They'll be playing material from Jakko's new album as well as some Crimso classics.
Also on the bill that weekend is Italy's very own Arturo Stalteri who is releasing his new album, Child Of The Moon.
I'll also be on hand during the weekend where I'll be off in search of the myths and legends of prog rock as well as talking about King Crimson, the toxic tome and DGMLive, using some previously unreleased archive KC material by way of illustration. See you there!
