Composer Robin Rimbaud aka Scanner was talking about the influences upon his work, including King Crimson, on BBC Radio 3’s concert of minimalist music last night. The programme was a celebration of Terry Riley’s seminal work In C and as well as containing a performance of the piece it featured the work of other composers. You can hear Robin talking about his own new work, Unsleeping, here receiving its world premier, at around 18.00 minutes into the broadcast.
