Heroic endeavours

While King Crimson’s version of the classic David Bowie song, Heroes, has been wowing the crowds on tour, the song has always drawn artists from a diverse range of backgrounds and styles to undertake their own reading of the song. Blondie provided an early example of a group attempting the song back in 1978 and every now and then they had a bit of help from Robert Fripp. Read Stereogum’s list piece here.
