When he’s not conquering the world with Porcupine Tree, creating introspective masterpieces with No-Man or even remixing King Crimson’s back catalogue between 1969 and 1984, Steven Wilson, has found time to record a solo record. Featuring contributions from Tony Levin, Gavin Harrison and Theo Travis, it’s not out until November but you can watch the trailer right here!

The next step is Discipline

The 1980s see a very different King Crimson incarnation originally touring under the name Discipline . The presence of Adrian Belew meant that Robert Fripp was working for the first time with another guitarist. This incarnation of Fripp, Belew, Bruford and Levin becomes the first one to record successive studio albums with the same lineup.
