Amongst the many people paying tribute to the late Tony
Wilson in the media over the last 24 hours is designer, Peter Saville. Best known for his pioneering work on Wilson’s
Factory label and his innovative work with fonts and typefaces, Saville also found time to designe the cover KC’s Discipline (you'll find it by rummaging around in the work section of his site.)
I’m not sure if viewers outside of the UK
can access this but there’s an round-table on the last edition (Friday 10th) of Newsight with
Peter, writer (and Fripp & Eno fan) Paul Morely, New Order’s Stephen Morris, and TV presenter,
Richard Madeley. The tribute and discussion to Wilson is in the final third of the show.
