There’s a chance for one lucky so-and-so to grab a copy of Fripp & Eno’s No Pussyfooting and Evening Star. All you have to do is tell me the date when John Peel famously played Fripp and Eno’s debut album backwards. If that date isn’t seared into your consciousness then you might find a hint here.
Once you’ve got the date in question send an email to competitions@dgmlive.com with the header F&E (otherwise you’ll be tossed in the spam bin) and please don’t forget to add your postal address in the message. The winner will be announced on Wednesday 19th November.
The expanded version of No Pussyfooting which has been getting so much press attention recently includes the Peel-inspired reversed version as well as the half-speed version of The Heavenly Music Corporation which in its slowed down format clocks in at over 40 minutes. You can read my take on how we used to play No Pussyfooting back in the day over on the blog.
