The ever-busy Tony Levin’s new album Stick Man is due out September 24th. “With Pat Mastelotto playing drums on most of it, it has a Crim-project feel to it, I think,” Tony told me recently
Tracks from the album are being featured on myspace site and there’s more information about the album on Tony’s site.
In between his ongoing work with Peter Gabriel and work for Stick Man, what I wondered, had Tony been reading and listening to lately?
“Last album heard (and re-heard many times, cause it's great,) Sleepytime Gorilla Museum's In Glorious Times. They're my favorite group, and all their cd's are special.
Last book I read was Rubicon, Triumph and Tragedy of the Roman Republic. Not bad, and glad I didn't have to give a review of the one I read before that - starts with ‘Harry’!”
Stay tuned to DGMLive for some Levin-related
competition action in the very near future.
