Dave Salt has been King Crimson's tour manager since the band's return was announced in 2013. The job of the tour manager is basically to make sure that everything is in place so that the musicians can do their thing. It means dealing with miniscule details of each and every aspect of the tour to ensure that when King Crimson come to town things run as smoothly as they can. It's a serious job and one which Dave undertakes with gravitas and aplomb.

Having escorted the Crims on to the stage he watches from the wings as they stride out to met by the roar of a supportive crowd...
Occasionally it can be hard to distinguish one Crim from another...
and then he has to make sure they are facing the right way to get to the stage area...
With the band safely on stage doing what they do best, Dave can take the opportunity to enjoy the epicurean delights of backstage catering...
Here's a bit more behind the scenes footage from the 2014 tour, with a brief cameo from Dave...
