09.13

Red Carpet Club, Heathrow.

Heathrow has moved to the next level.

Terminal Three was not quite as my last visit here. Outside, a new check-in hall is being constructed. Inside, at last, security screening is developing to match the level of terminal traffic. Another new development: x-ray of shoes as a separate & secondary screening after the primary carry-on screening. As usual, my tuning forks resulted in hands-on bag examination.

In the Daily Telegraph today” the National Trust breaks its rules on acquiring houses to a buy an exceptional Cornish property: Godolphin House in Cornwall, just by Godolphin Cross. The G in JG Bennett stands for Godolphin, and the farm which Brother Peter Willis & I were engaged in operating (Peter doing all the farmwork) 1978-80 was a narrow lane & a track away from the church at Godolphin Cross, where my Godson Jack Willis was christened.

16.05  Red Carpet Club, D Concourse, Washington Dulles.

An uneventful flight with no boobiest action to report. Half the toilets were out of action, leaving two operational toilets for a full economy section & one toilet for a full business section.

E-flurrying to catch up with recent arisings. A flight to Boston at 16.45.

20.11  Basement Hughes, Boston.

Glenn & Mary Beth collected me from the airport, gave me a drive-around tour of the neighbourhood & brought me here, generously providing me with their basement. I am a happy boy.
