Bredonborough.

Sometime in the night, probably the early morning, an insight: a sense of the larger importance of developing an intimate acquaintance with the sense of presence of life within the body. That is, strengthening the experiencing of organic sensation.

And down to give WillyFred his breakfast. Wilf is not eating his greens, although happy to pump down other parts of his diet, notably fruit. Perhaps this is an aftermath to his recent dentistry. But even a rabbit with a fur coat needs a hot-water bottle in this weather…

A price worth paying?
:: Posted by dgardiner on March 15, 2013
… I wonder: all things considered - the frustration, the pain, the back catalogue, the legacy - has it been a price worth paying?

Sometimes, I feel I volunteered for active service in a weak moment. Otherwise, the travails of a long (and conventionally-successful) life as a working player are part of acquiring sufficient qualifications and experience to enable my proper work in life. And on that subject…

News of the Day: today is the 28th. Anniversary of the first Guitar Craft course (The Orchestra Of Crafty Guitarists / Guitar Craft) which redeems just about everything.

A call from my credit-card company: one of their suppliers has been compromised with knock-on effects for their customers. Acting to re-instate the payment for my flight to Argentina this Autumn. Stuff. Stuff.

A bruised day, sucking up more negativity than is usual for me.

It is interesting to note how people deal with negativity. One approach is to pass it on to others: the dump. The difference between this, and someone who relates life difficulties or setbacks without self-pity, reporting negative situations without negativity, is experientially and qualitatively different. Strangely, I find this to be a positive experience: it is clean, inclusive, an authentic sharing. It is not a negativity-dump. For some reason, and one that no-one has discussed with me: I seem to be an ideal candidate for dumping. It often accompanies the (seemingly widely-held) view that, in addition to being a good repository for negativity, I am also a person to solve the problems of others, on their behalf rather than in participation. Which is very different.

19.50    The Sistery Peson has called, about to board a flight and set off to Fripp Analogue.

Dribbling. Pitifully computing.
