The day that nothing happened. No news of Luke Hutchence and Ozzie Richardson. Also no news from Sean Fitzpatrick concerning Punk's bedroom recordings.

Today at the Vicarage : The Vicarage.

But not a lost day. This morning "Being and Becoming" played by the Metropole Orchestra found its way onto my CD player. Bert Lams and Andrew Keelings' labour has not been in vain. It is a powerful piece of music.

Interestingly, Fripp's performance in Newlyn Church, from which "Being and Becoming" is taken, has recently forced its way into the DGM studio. Despite their best intentions to make an album based on The World Financial Centre performances, Newlyn has demanded to be heard. It is a performance that sits entirely outside time.
