I cannot be considered a "fan" but I followed RF since long time . Villa Arconati was just a good chance being few km away from home , nice place, not too crowded . I come to the core of the concert: it was "correct" in the sense that both the playing and the sound was ok, some good tips along the concert and then, suddendly, 10-15 seconds of "real thing" ! What I mean is that all the concert for me was concentrated in those 10 seconds (or even less) where RF opened the door of hell, threw in an incredibly distorted sound with an overall feeling of "end of the world" and then, happy to be able to free such an incredibly energy, closed it with (probably) a smile and returned back to the normality of the concert. I must be used to the guitarists (I know Gilardino , by the way) but I have to say that , at the end , I was disappointed that that light was so short: it was so bright that nulled the (good) performance of the ensemble in my mind (and this is not fair for the other young guitarists) but not enough to fulfill my soul. Thanks for those ten seconds but let consider them as an "appetizer" for a King Crimson fan, without serving the whole meal .
