After coming up with the wizard wheeze of flogging his sound checks, That Awful Man has now decided to sell the bit in between the music[endtease] aka the return of Chuckles Fripp aka Q&A.

During the session Fripp talks about his experience of being booed off the stage, his semi-pro days in Dorset, the difference between improvisation and making it up as you go along, 101 uses for a deceased wife, what drives him to create and what Brian Eno is really like.

Robert encourages burning questions after his soundscape performance. Is yours answered here?

Great fun!
"I prostrate myself at the feet of the world’s greatest living comedian!" Silly quotes aside, this is an engaging listen; Mr. Fripp is a wonderfully articulate speaker;this conveys his generosity towards his audience marvellously. Englishmen should enjoy the Dorset accent! Despite what he says about disinterest on the G3 tour I am proud to annonce that he converted at least 2 fans at the London gig-one of which only 18 years old. Especially interested to hear Robert’s comments on life in a covers band-I have experienced what he says about music coming alive even in the most banal of settings and was glad to have the experience affirmed by someone so eloquent.

it's RF Unplugged...Lite
Say, kids - ever wonder what ol’ Uncle Venal really thinks of Brian Eno? Did you hear the one about Fripp playing Donna Summers? And just what do you do with a dead wife? Well, the answers to all these and more are available to you when you line the Heartless One’s silken pockets for a 30-minute Q&A session recorded live in Troy, New York! You’ll hear such gems as his thrilling days with G3, his days when he was hot on the new York scene and a special secret message from the Psychic Internet!   Patricia was right - he talked to his fans...now buy his stuff!!

Where are the Soundscapes?
...they are available (and well worthy of a download). But for those who may have hankered after an insight into Robert Fripp’s personality and opinions but have gone for more invasive ways, try this instead! Humourous and informative, this is an unmissable addendum to the current Soundscapes downloads and live gigs. For those seeking an informed insight into Mr Fripp’s current thoughts, it’s best to hear it from the man himself, delivered in his inimitable style. I smiled all the way to the end! Ashley K Gray
