This track is now available for download as part of a bumper collection of Mr Stormy's Monday Selections Volume Three - Yes, his third year of treasures from the murky, cavernous DGM archives, torch in hand, fedora upon his head.

Always a beautiful piece as part of the Robert Fripp String Quartet, Hope appeared on The Bridge Between (1993)and on the DGM sampler, Sometimes God Hides (1996). Robert makes the notes spring and sing whilst Trey swoops and soars on the Stick. Sublime stuff guaranteed to wash away the day’s troubles.

Lovely!
This is a very nice version of Hope.  The Bridge Between is one of my favorite records and this piece is a wonderful example of what Trey Gunn brought to the mix that eventually became the Double Trio version of King Crimson where unfortunately his talents sometimes got swamped by all the other players.
