Trey Gunn's online course entitled Modes is now open for registration. Now in its fifth year, folks who sign up will get to work directly with Trey over the nine weeks. Trey says; "This is a deep listening course for all instrumentalists and singers at any level of experience. We will be exploring how to use all the colors available to us and how to make those colors shine out in the strongest ways.
This course is based on materials that I would have killed for in my younger days as a player. I go through all the practices myself each year so my ear can work deeper and deeper into the material.
This is an online correspondence-type course. I send out materials every week and we meet on Slack to discuss and share our work.
