One day later than advertised, here’s the answer to last week’s competition question. In order to win a copy of The Humans toe-tapper I asked “when did Robert last play in the UK where he wasn't soundscaping?” I figured the answer was Sylvian & Fripp at the Albert Hall. However, just to be on the safe side I cross-referenced with ol’ Chuckles himself. Here’s what he had to say.
“sid - this is a huge question! even with Sylvian i was soundscaping - i developed that approach with some of david's tech ideas. so, most likely SAOTW. i think their last show was at salisbury city hall in 1990? i didn't scape with Sunday.”
So, in the end Sunday All Over The World is the answer we were looking for. Congratulations to Daniel Maciag in Tychy, Poland and to Dominic Waite. Stay tuned for another fabbo comp.
