SOME MORE SOMERVILLE

My thanks to Bob Mallis of Boston MA for sending in these thoughts on the gig.

"What a wonder-full show!  This is my first live experience of Mr. Fripp and the LOCG (and of Mr. Fripp in any role a-stage) I was impressed first by the multilingual "greeting" which showed both humor and covered all the bases.  I was then taken surprise by a Smiling Mr. Fripp!  As things started positively, so they stayed for me.

I was thirdly surprised by the pieces where Mr. Fripp and the League bridged the Soundscaping with the Amplified Acousticating.  I had no idea how things would unfold and I was happy to see them do so.  Sometimes I didn’t get how the two worlds were related, but when I did get it, it was beautiful.

Humor was found throughout the show, some themes were expressed within the League that I recognize but could not name and of course the appearance of Vroom! and Mission Impossible.  A special treat at the end, maybe a spoiler for some so, but they took advantage of the intimate venue quite nicely and let the ears relax slowly...
Thank You!"
