My thanks to eviLMGD for the following alert about a little bit of Crim-related history. eviLMGD writes "Well, the shop in South Kilburn, London NW6 that
GG&F used to get their Revox tweaked at back in the day is finally
no more. It had gone down to only being open a couple of days a week (as
a Bang and Olufsen franchise), but has finally closed.

The premises have morphed into a shop dealing with house automation equipment (you know, closing your curtains via smartphone whilst you're on another continent, that kind of thing). I don't know, but I hope, that the proprietor of Rex Radio has retired, and if he has, may he enjoy his retirement."
