Welcome to the first edition of Random Robert. This is the thrilling new section of the DGMLive experience where I delve in a random fashion into the Robert Fripp ganderbag of photographs.
In here you will find numerous examples of Robert’s selfless dedication to documenting hotel rooms decorated with ennui, corridors brooding with Lynchian menace, the longhaul heartache of the tourbus, and the backstreets and highways of Europe where each and every mile paved with the loneliness of the long distance gigster.

All you have to do is send a post to the guestbook with the heading Random Robert and a number between 1 and 2,240. Just the number nothing else. I’ll then print these out and whichever number my cat, Ginger Bob, sits on gets to be featured online!
Ginger Bob and I got the Random Robert ball rolling today with Random Robert 2,237 in which the light at the end of tunnel is almost certainly just about to be turned off.
