Prime Thyme TV For Fripp

In what must be one of the most bizarre KC-related sightings, Robert Fripp was name checked at the end of ITV’s Rosemary and Thyme Christmas Special last night.

In an episode entitled The Cup Of Silence, written by Stephen Gallagher, the phrase “music is the cup which holds the wine of silence” was quoted by a character who was then asked where it came from.  “William Blake?” asked one.  “William Wordsworth?” inquired another.  “Robert Fripp, King Crimson” replied Laura Thyme, played by Pam Ferris.

The Golden Anorak Award for this sighting goes to Debra, my partner, who was rather bemused by this mention.  She's not the only one .
