PARADISE FOUND IN GLOUCESTER

I'm grateful to Ian Stubbs who took time out of a busy Sunday schedule to tell us about his recent visit to the PJ Crook / Robert Fripp exhibition.

"Enjoyed an hour or so with P J Crook’s paintings and Robert’s Soundscapes yesterday. My daughter (10) and I found much to think about from her work. But sadly she didn’t like the music ( she talked all the way through) and I only got a glimpse of Paradise, the way it could be.

It was good to see the originals for the art work to Epitaph, Absent Lovers  and Power To Believe form Fripp and Toyah’s personal collection. My own walls aren’t big enough.

Shame that there are some books on PJ’s work on sale but no Fripp CDs in the museum shop as it is a joint presentation."

Ian also points out that the exhibition is free and that the museum also have a PJ Crook in their permanent collection.
