The new KCCC album is now on pre-order over at Inner Knot. As many folks will know P3’s magical appearance at the start of what was meant to be a King Crimson gig was caused by Adrian falling ill.
This is a great gig that lets you see the inner workings of some of the repertoire and also features several flights of fancy which is always welcome in a Crim context. Frankly, any excuse to hear Trey burning up the plank has got to be worth 14 bucks of anyones money.
Those wanting to hear the full Q&A session will be disappointed though. On this release we only get a short extract and it’s not Robert’s impromptu version of Fracture accompanied by Pat and Trey on hand and thigh slapping.
Oh no! Has this been excised at the request of some higher authority? Is this a conspiracy by DGM to crush the spirit of downtrodden fans and their frequently abused expectations? Nope. It’s because the three minute extract was all we had at HQ where it was mastered. Simple as that.
