Pat Mastelotto was the mystery guest in Newark! Pat spoke about his differing roles within the incarnations of King Crimson, from his first pairing with Bill Bruford in 1993 ("where I just wanted to let Bill play as I'm a fan of what he does"), through being the only drummer in the Double Duo and the introduction of the electronics in the 2000s and then his new role with the three drummers, and the fun he has emulating Jamie Muir. Tony Levin, ater confessing he was bored in the dressing room without pat, came out to join the crowd!
