MYSTERY VENUE TIME AGAIN

Here’s another mystery venue to get your detective muscles into gear.

As Hugh rightly observes “This is a bit of a puzzler as it appears to be a tiny place, very low ceiling. Look how low the lighting rig is!. The tour list has the band mostly playing theatres by this time, and it is easy to eliminate some places. That door mural might be a clue to someone.

What we do know: it's the first half of 1973. What we think we know: it's probably North America, April or May.

By way of comparison here are some other pics

Rome, April 6, Bill and John look identical to the mystery photo, but Bill
does not yet have the gong set. The gongs appear in photographs once they
hit America.

The New York pic shows the same stage setup. And finally it's all over by June 9 when Wetton gets a haircut.

Yes this really is how we amuse ourselves in the art department. Robert
came in and had a look but could only place it as early '73.”

So folks, if you recognise this venue let us know over on the guestbook. No wild guesses please and remember it’ll help in garnering yourself a fabbo prize if you can provide corroboration from another source.
