When designer Bill Smith employed a horse and associated equine / human imagery for the Concise King Crimson compilation, he might have been nearer the mark than he realised. Thanks to Paul Turner for sending in this item yesterday.
"I spotted the following on the Tampa Bay Online website...
The Tampa Tribune

Tribune handicapper Michael David picks today’s races at Tampa Bay Downs:
RACE 1: (7) Capture the Beauty, second against similar; (1) Lookslikelightnin, front runner has better post today; (5) Kyla’a Treasure, takes class drop to score.
RACE 2: (8) Diamond Steal, the one to catch; (2) Beau Bock, third in local start; (1) Flush Flop, shipper gets class relief.
RACE 3: (5) Carebehr, lone win at this track and distance; (1) Kentucky River, lost last by a neck; (3) Stephi Babe, in easier race today.
RACE 4: (4) Brickell, should win on class; (9) Solar Surprise, good Tampa record; (3) Dakota Max, chance for a minor share.
RACE 5: (4) Lynn O, won last by six lengths; (2) Champagne Sunrise, best at this two-turn distance; (8) Caricaturist, in top form now.
RACE 6: (2) Field Sport, strong finish in turf debut; (6) Alie’s Doublecross, disqualified and placed second in last; (3) King Crimson, bred for the turf.
RACE 7: (5) Expect Validity, first start for sharp new barn; (6) Patched, on a two-race win streak; (8) Hi Poppy, chance for a minor award.
If I were a betting man, I’d put a few quid on No 3 in Race 6. (No 7 in Race 1 and No 5 in Race 7 sound like RF aphorisms to me)."
