Accordionist Kimmo Pohjonen will perform at the Sydney Festival on January 18th at City Recital Hall. This is Pohjonen’s first
performance in Australia and will be a solo concert with Jukka Kaven –
sound design and Ari “Valo” Virtanen” – light design.
On the KTU front, Kimmo will be travelling to Texas in late February for the third session of studio recordings with the KTU trio, including Pat Mastelotto – rhythmic devices and Trey Gunn – Warr guitar. KTU's long-awaited second album will be released in late 2008.
