King Crimson’s drummer from 2008 to 2021 is 62 today.
Best known for his time with Porcupine Tree and leading the three drummers in the 2014-2021 lineup of King Crimson, Gavin Harrison has also played with artists as diverse as Claudio Baglioni, Iggy Pop, Level 42 and The Nolans,
Since 2016 he has been the drummer with the Pineapple Thief who have recently completed a European tour and just returned from playing dates in Chile.
Gavin plays Qstock festival with The Pineapple Thief on July 26 in Oulu, Finland.
And in August he will be part of a stellar lineup of drummers teaching at Drum Fantasy Camp in Los Angeles.
