It's a barn-stormer from the Larks' Tongues quintet. Captured in Oxford in bootleg quality this era isn't to every Crimhead's taste but for those of us of a certain vintage this is a  gold-standard concert that is as exciting as it is surprising.

As I was playing it this morning I was struck by just how out there Crimson was at the time, and that even after all these years later, it still sounds like the future arriving. You can read my full rant over on the blog.
