Following a tour with Roxy Music that took in Spain, Portugal, the south of France and Italy, and recently featured on Sheltering Skies Live in Frejus CD and LP, the 1982 Crimson went on to play a number of dates in Germany and the Netherlands.
This included two consecutive festival appearances at the 5th Golden Summer Night Concert. Here is the second of these to be added to dgmlive which sees the band performing before a huge crowd at the Small Zeppelinfield in Nuremberg, on September 5th, 1982. Sourced from an audience tape recording, compare and contrast with the previous day’s appearance at Wiesbaden, as King Crimson appear as ‘Special Guests' on a bill headlined by Jethro Tull and Neil Young.
