I read that Visa and Mastercard have stopped accepting
credit card transactions for a well known Russian download site. The director general of the site is quoted as
saying "The company has been unfairly characterised as a pirate website.
Nothing could be further from the truth."
I don't want to be picky but if that’s the case how is it that the work of artists for which neither rights or licenses have been granted by the appropriate copyright holders appear on the site? Read the full story here.
