You'll recall that a couple of weeks ago Grant MacKay won a copy of The Equatorial Stars. Well his prize has arrived and Grant shares his thoughts on the disc.
"I was very excited when The Equatorial Stars arrived and I
am enjoying the album a lot. It’s a gorgeous, gorgeous album. Our turn for
Autumn south of the equator and the songs compliment the moodiness and lower
light of the day.
What I find interesting is how the songs quietly but persistently gain your attention. I’ve had the sense that they wrap around you like a warm quilt. I hope to listen to it alone uninterrupted soon far from kids and phones and the like."
