Emmett Chapman has died. The inventor of the Stick, his multi-stringed instrument had a profound impact on the sound of King Crimson in the 1980s and beyond. Tony Levin's adoption of the Stick with Peter Gabriel and King Crimson did much to popularise and widen the Stick's appeal.
