Adrian Belew is releasing a new album entitled Elevator - his 25th release as a solo artist. The blurb says "as with most of his solo releases, he writes the songs, produces the record, and plays and sings everything. “Elevator” includes 38 of Adrian’s recent digital paintings as well as the lyrics to his songs. There are 12 new songs, ranging from delicate ballads to raging art rock as well as Adrian’s unique brand of avant-pop music."
Adrian Belew is also hitting the road with his own power trio now featuring long-time musical partner, bassist Julie Slick and drummer Johnny Luca. The trio will be playing 25 dates around the US. Tickets are available Friday April 29th at 10 AM EST. For more details visit Adrian's website.
