Andy Partridge's Crimson XTC

My thanks to Joseph for sending me this link to an interview with Andy Partridge  discussing the 1987 song "Little Lighthouse" and the oblique influence of Crimson upon its recording.  Of course there are lots of Crimson - XTC connections: Barry Andrews joined Fripp on Exposure and in the League of Gentlemen after leaving XTC, Pat Mastelotto played with them on Oranges & Lemons and when I interviewed Dave Gregory a few years back he copped to being a big fan of In The Wake of Poseidon. Of course it's a well-known secret that if you play their first album backwards it pays an eerie homage to "Peoria" from Earthbound.  Well, OK I made that last bit up but you get the idea.
