All Aboard For Chicago

Well you get the idea.

Throughout their long career King Crimson have always made a point of stopping off in Chicago. Did you attend any of the shows? Were you at the Kinetic Playground in 1969, or perhaps the Auditorium Theater in December 1971. How about the Kinetic a couple of years later in April 1973? What about the Auditorium that same year in September or April 1974?

If you’re interested in helping chart Crimson’s relationship with Chicago from 1969 through to 2003, I’d be very interested to hear your recollections and experience of seeing the band. What was it like? Who else was on the bill? How did the band go down with the local crowd? Did you have a close encounter with the group?

If you're interested in helping document each appearance in that famously "toddling town" (I never did understand that particular lyric!), please send me an email with the heading CHICAGO (otherwise you’ll be consigned to the spambin) with your observations, thoughts, ramblings and anything else you think might be helpful.
