Rolling Stone magazine’s account of Robert Fripp’s press conference last weekend flags up no less than “15 things we learned,” and includes Hendrix, Duke Ellington and Scotty Moore making cameo appearances, as well as his thoughts on a Crimson lineup where there are “no prima donnas,” why studio albums aren’t likely in this band’s future, Steve Hackett’s near-invitation to replace Fripp in 1974, Lester Bangs, Crimso clams, and much much more besides.
