Here’s a round-up of some live reviews of the band.
First up, this assessment from The Paramount Theatre, Long Island.
“Forget the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider at Brookhaven National Laboratory. The heaviest elements on Long Island Monday night were the sonic booms reverberating right between the walls of The Paramount in Huntington when the legendary prog-rock band King Crimson hit the stage with three top-notch drummers pounding their complex polyrhythms into the center of our brains.”
The Sea Of Tranquility website, who were at the show in Albany on the 8th November, made this observation…
“If you would have told me a decade ago that we'd see King Crimson dust out "Lizard", "Islands", or "Cirkus" live in 2017 I would have told you that you were nuts…”
Meanwhile, in Boston, the Standing Room Only blog offered this perspective.
“It is amazing that after nearly 50 years, King Crimson continues to make the music fresh, creating interesting new elements when re-‘construkting’ the complicated arrangements of their songs.”
