This week's download celebrating King Crimson's 50th-anniversary is David Singleton and Robert Fripp's remix of Ladies Of The Road. The piece was originally uploaded on DGM in 2006 to mark the passing of Boz Burrell. It seems somehow appropriate that this version is made available on the 12th anniversary of Ian Wallace's death...

The next step is Discipline

The 1980s see a very different King Crimson incarnation originally touring under the name Discipline . The presence of Adrian Belew meant that Robert Fripp was working for the first time with another guitarist. This incarnation of Fripp, Belew, Bruford and Levin becomes the first one to record successive studio albums with the same lineup.
