John Wetton remembered

Today is John Wetton’s birthday. He would have turned 69 today and that anniversary provides us with an opportunity to celebrate his contribution to King Crimson.

Although his period with the band was relatively short, spanning the summer of 1972 to the summer of 1974, John was always intensely proud of his association with King Crimson.

Here are two of John’s personal favourites from his time with Crimson.

After John’s passing last year Prog magazine featured a tribute to his life and times including comments from his friend Richard Palmer-James who also celebrated his birthday earlier this week.
