Gordon Haskell, who sang Cadence And Cascade from In The Wake Of Poseidon and provided the principal vocals and bass on Lizard is busy at work on his new album. Titled It's Me You And Them And Us, it will feature songs and a book. There's even talk about an animated film in the works. Gordon provided this update on the making of it via his Facebook page. 

Today we lay another 2 tracks for the album and a sax overdub to an earlier track this evening. Meanwhile in a city in Poland a conductor begins to arrange the set for a show I am doing with the 40 piece Polish Philharmonic orchestra and all the arrangements and so on.-and its not until November 17th- meanwhile I am compiling the credits for the sleeve of the CD and playing with the imagery and artwork . When I lived in Skopelos for 10 years I learned to build stone walls and gradually I built my best straight up and down beautiful stone wall in the garden. It look me maybe 2 years to get the hang of it and its as solid as the rocks I used. With the incredible speed of all this information we get everyday, it should come as no surprise that the attention span of us facebook users is measured in seconds. I hope the music lasts as long as my stone wall does. I am building the songs in the same slow methodical patient way . I enjoy it immensely and it is with beautiful people around me as I do it. . I enjoyed building the wall also and its still there after all this time. My messages on Facebook will have vanished . I'm off to work before I start thinking too much as is my cursed habit.
